A few weeks ago Tough Mudder hit UK shores for the first time with their South East / Midlands event and boy did they hit the ground running! They must have invested some serious marketing buck; I couldn't go anywhere on the internet without seeing adverts and there was even
a couple pages advertorial in The Metro earlier in the year (I'm assuming that doesn't come cheap). Well, it seems that their investment paid off, there were a massive amount of people taking part in the event - around 9,000 over the course of the weekend!
Over the coming few weeks, I'll be publishing reviews of this first Tough Mudder, as well as the most recent Nettle Warrior, Survival of the Fittest and Warrior Dash. Plus I'll be looking at the Spartan Races and Total Warrior as they happen.
In the mean time check out the video below shot over the UK's first Tough Mudder event. It brings back happy memories from how much fun it was, particularly the "Mud Mile". Awesome!
