Toughest is proud to present a world class OCR training camp at Mike's Gym, located near to Marbella in Spain. The camp is packed with training sessions and workshops designed to challenge and push every athlete’s physical limits, as well as inspire them to go even harder. At the camp, athletes will be given the best conditions to improve in OCR; mastering their techniques at obstacles, strongman lifting and running.
Toughest have teamed up with the training travel specialist Invictus Travel to organise this exciting and challenging training camp.
The camp is set up at the purpose built and highly renowned Mike's Gym on top of a hill by La Cala Mijas. It overlooks the Spanish coastline and boasts Europe's largest privately owned outdoor obstacle training course. The gym features classic obstacles such as the big wall and over-under, as well as lines to maneuver over and climbing nets. Moreover, it offers strongman training in the “Combat Zone” that is packed with muscle fatiguing obstacles like atlas stones, sled pulls, log benchpress, tractor wheels and hang combinations with ropes, bars and more.
In addition, the facilities also offer a crossfit box, two boxing rings, spinning bikes, rowing, skiing machines, bars, salmon ladders, a peg board, TRX and all the things needed to get top class functional and versatile training.
“This is one the most versatile and complete training facilities in Europe. It also happens to be close to both a beautiful beach and the mountains.”
Henrik Almers - Invictus Travel & Training
The coaches of the camp will be Yoie ”Rastarunner” Bohlin (winner of Toughest MINI TOUR 2015), Andreas Sjölin (Head Coach of Toughest LAB) and the legend Mike Ritchie, founder and owner of Mike's Gym.
The week will get the athletes sweating and pumping twice a day, moving between beach training, the gym and the assault course. Between and after sessions there will be time to hang out at the beach, enjoy a coffee in town or to hit the gym again. The Evening program includes workshops covering mobility, running and more.
“This is a chance anyone interested in training should not miss out on!”
Hanna Lennartson – Gainomax
Do it like you mean it and go beat your obstacle!
