Last weekend saw two of the biggest hitting league races in the North and Midlands - Pain and Suffering and Total Warrior Leeds - so there's plenty to report on in the updated league tables.
The biggest news from the main table is James Burton from Team Pro-Fit has moved into first place after coming 11th at Total Warrior. Dasos Gonnella, who he overtook, was just a couple of places behind him at 13th.
In the Team League, Mudstacle's community team are still the only ones to have reached the 12 score maximum and so are still at the top, just through numbers. However Team Pro-Fit have very nearly caught up and are looking likely to jump above Mudstacle in the near future. Looking further down the table, it's the teams with the highest average scores that are the ones to watch out for. BMF Race Team and the newly formed Mudstacle Machines are leading that charge but each have only notched up three races so far, we're all really looking forward to seeing how that pans out!
It's all change in the Men's Masters table as Tony Brownlee scored very highly by coming 12th at Total Warrior which puts him straight to the top, with BMF Race Team's Shaun Wilde just a couple of points behind after he achieved 11th at Pain and Suffering. The biggest news in the Men's Masters table though is that reigning champion, and recently announced Mudstacle Machine, Dave Rogers (pictured above) came first overall at Pain & Suffering to give him the maximum of 130 points. It was his first race but that puts him in a very good position for the rest of the season.
There has been no movement at the top of either the Ladies Under 40s or Ladies Masters Leagues as Josie Nye, Faye Showell, Toni Cupit and Jo Lord have held on to the top two places in their respective tables.
