Lee The tables have been updated following last weekend's three league races and it's never been closer at the top of the league with just 0.116 points separating the top two...

Tristan Steed from Team Muddy Kit won yet another Spartan Race at the Windsor Beast on Sunday, which brought him (nearly) level on points with Mudstacle Machine's Ross Brackley. In situations like this we look at the decimal places to see who has scored higher. The scores from every event are calculated to twelve decimal places to be as precise as possible! Although the tables state that both have 410 points, the truth is that Ross Brackley has 409.802939039106 and Tristan Steed has 409.686846111774, meaning that Ross is leading by 0.116 points. Tristan can still overtake Ross by winning one of the remaining Survival of the Fittest Races or Nuclear Fallout or the OCR Championships. The latter two carry 40 bonus points so a win at either of those could seal the league.
In the Under 40s table, BMF Race Team's David Hellard notched up his third scoring race of the season which took him up to fourth overall in the league and third in category. Lee Jackson's win at Warrior Run (pictured above) for the Mudstacle Machines sees him overtaking team-mate Jason Brunnock and moving into fifth overall (fourth in category).
In the Team League, strong scores from David Hellard and Ross MacDonald at the weekend mean that the BMF Race Team have jumped up to seventh in the table, but crucially they've still only got 11 scoring races under their belt, so one more strong result by one of their team who hasn't already got three scores could easily move the BMF Race Team into second place.
