Last weekend we had two cracking qualifying events that saw many of the top racers in action.

The battle for the top of the ladies table continued between Andrea Berquez and Natasha Mansell (pictured above) at Monster Race on Saturday, with the pair of them racing toe to toe and looking to move ahead of the other. Andrea started fast but Natasha didn't let her out of her sight and they remained neck and neck for the entire course. Andrea managed to retain her lead and took the win, by just over 30 seconds. That means that Andrea retakes the top of the league and moves ahead by 10 points. Team Phoenix's Becky Neal came first at Forest Warrior to move her into third place, just seven points behind Natasha.
Bridget Upton raced both Monster Race on Saturday AND Forest Warrior on Sunday and did really well at both (4th and 6th respectively) which bumps her straight to the top of the ladies masters table. She is followed closely by Laura Heywood who came third at Monster and Dominique Searle who came second at Forest Warrior. Laura and Dom are only 2 points apart but each still on just two scores.
Over in the men's table, Ross Brackley notched up his third win of the season at Forest Warrior to take him to his familiar position of top of the league. Teammate Jason Brunnock came first at Monster Race which slots him into second. Dave Rogers came second at Monster Race to move him into third in the men's overall table and top of the men's masters table by nearly 100 points!
Keith Fairburn, Clayton Payne and Dasos Gonnella also hit podiums this last weekend and scored highly, with Das moving into fifth in the league.
Becky Neal's first place along with Das' third jumps Team Phoenix into second place in the team league, giving them a reasonable sized gap between themselves and Team Kitbrix in third. In places third to fifth, Kitbrix, Team Nuts and Mudstacle are all within just 11 points of each other setting up an exciting fight to hit one of the podium positions.
We're only just over a third of the way through the season though, with many of the higher scoring races still to come. Next up is Warrior Run on 23rd April then Rat Race Dirty Weekend on 6th May which carries a whopping 45 bonus points to the winner. A result which would make a massive difference to this intensely close league season.

Also note that the points allocation tables are slightly differently this season, with all race results going into the same table. This means that you can search by name or team name to see all of that person or team's results in one place, without having to go through multiple tables.
