Warrior Run last Sunday was an awesome event, as always, and we hope that the sunshine marks an end of this year's harsh winter races.

The biggest news of the week was the show of strength that came from RPCC at Warrior Run. They fielded their biggest and strongest team so far and came out with four guys and girls hitting top five spots and a further three inside the top 15. This gave them a huge boost in the team league and rocketed them from 7th up to 3rd - leaving them only 5 points behind Team Phoenix who are clinging on to second position.
In the ladies race, Kitbrix's superstar Andrea Berquez claimed her third win of the season which increases her lead at the top of the women's table. Laura Heywood came third to move her to the top of the ladies' masters table, just ahead of Bridget Upton who came eighth. The other podium position was taken by Team Immortals' Kate Stillwell who goes up to tenth in the league despite only having two results under her belt. She is definitely one to watch in the future.
At the front of the men's race, Mudstacle Machine Dave Rogers was battling with RPCC's Barry Buchanan (both pictured). Dave led for most of the race but Barry did get ahead for a chunk of the second lap and never let Dave out of his sight for the rest. Dave took the win in the end which strengthens his position as third in the men's table and first in the men's masters. His lead in the masters table is now 110 points but top masters Tony Brownlee, Paul Furness, James Clancy and Michael Midgley are still each on just two races out of the maximum of three and current masters league champion Jason Burgess has only raced one.

Also note that the points allocation tables are slightly differently this season, with all race results going into the same table. This means that you can search by name or team name to see all of that person or team's results in one place, without having to go through multiple tables.
