For most people, Rat Race Dirty Weekend is just about having fun with friends and enjoying a great after-party. But the front of the first wave tells a different story (as you can see in our video coverage here), as the best racers fight it out for the massive 45 bonus points on offer.

Well I must be Mudstacle's Mystic Meg, because the last time I updated the league news I said that Kate Stillwell is one to watch, and whadya know, she only went and scored a fantastic second place at the brutal 20 miler that is Dirty Weekend! That moves her into fifth in the league and Team Immortals up to eighth. Dom Searle was just behind her which jumps her to the top of the Ladies Masters League and third lady overall.
There's no movement in the top three of the men's table, but Mudstacle Machine Lee Jackson came fourth at Dirty Weekend, which moves him into fourth in the league, slotting in nicely behind his teammates. Former professional triathlete Clayton Payne came eighth at Rat Race which moves him into fifth in the table.
In the men's masters table, Paul Furness jumps into second position and Dirty Weekend's silver medallist Jason Burgess slides into fourth place, which is phenomenal considering he's only racked up two scoring races. Another podium and he'll fly into the top spot.
Finally, in the team league, Mudstacle team moved up a few places into fourth after Jo Shelmerdine, Jamie Burke and Richard Palmer all scored highly at Dirty Weekend. This means that there's only nine points now separating positions 2-4.

Also note that the points allocation tables are slightly differently this season, with all race results going into the same table. This means that you can search by name or team name to see all of that person or team's results in one place, without having to go through multiple tables.
