October is a busy month for the League table with the Windsor Spartan beast and OCR World championships taking place at the start of the month. This weekend will see the culmination of the 2019 Mudstacle league season with the Nuclear Challenge Cup and there is still all to play for.
With her brilliant win at the Spartan Windsor Beast Andrea Berquez recorded her 5th scoring result of the season and storms up three places to lead the table by 27 points from Nicki Johnson in second.
In the mens table there is no change, despite a fantastic result for James Burton at the OCRWC coming 22nd in the 15k pro wave. James sits just 12 points behind Mark Dickson heading into the weekend so has every chance of taking home his first Mudstacle league win. The Dark horse is Luke De-Benedictis currently sitting in 11th 105 points behind but with only 4 scoring events. A podium at the Challenge cup as his 5th scoring event could be enough to catapult him into 1st and the 2019 league title.
In the Masters table Laura Heywood and Mark Dickson lead the way and both look to have unassailable leads heading into this weekend but there is still a chance for changes in the top 3.
Obstacle Mud Runner Magazine and Nuclear Phoenix are in a battle fot top position in the Team table with OMRM looking to have the edge with a 35 point lead but that could all change with some strong performances from the Phoenix team on their home turf this weekend.
